This blog has been inactive for almost half a year, due to the fact that we have moved to a new apartment, and other things in life. But now we are beginning to settle in, so I hope there will be more frequent posts soon. For now I just have to tell about an astonishing guitar I’ve bought: An Hermanos Conde Paco de Lucia Special from 1989! My friend Jörgen Åström in Switzerland had visited Vintage Guitar World in Germany and played this one and another Conde guitar for hours, until he settled for the other one. I had looked att the guitar on the web site, but it was Jörgen’s recommendation that made me daredevil enough to buy a guitar without playing it first!
The guitar arrived 10th of April, and I’ve been in love ever since. Amazing sound, amazing playability. And a bonus – it’s a 35 years old brand new guitar!! It’s been owned by a collector all these years, and hardly been played at all! Not a scratch. This is a real premium flamenco guitar. And I’m a very happy owner indeed!
